There’s only one apartment per floor, so the architects let the steel door roll open to reveal the space when you step out of the elevator. (Closed, it creates a mini-lobby.) The wall unit is a rare Gio Ponti, which came from a house in South America. Above the Monica Armani coffee table is a fifties Bianconi glass lamp. The sofa is by Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia.
