Step aside, Demi and Ashton: Our strangest-partnership-of-the-year award goes to budget-Italian-restaurant boss Frank Prisinzano, of Frank and Lil' Frankies fame, and Karim Amatullah, the creator of the posh celebrity hangout Halo. The two have collaborated on a space equipped with all the right swanky accoutrements (skylight, waterfall, fireplace, velvety banquettes, and two beds to lounge on), where chef Junnajet Hurapen turns out modern Vietnamese fare including pho, summer rolls, and steamed lobster in curry broth. There's sushi, too, not to mention meatballs, which must have been Prisinzano's idea.
ExtraNote: Hue's lounge is open Mon-Sat, 6pm-4am
Recommended DishesTwo Hue Duck, $21.95; Vietnamese spring roll, $10
