Though the trendy selection may be slightly more subdued than that of its neighbor, the Future Perfect (which shares owners as well as this North 6th Street corner), A&G has plenty of playful home accoutrements. Milkmaid glasses and skull mugs in the kitchen section peer across the cavernous showroom at animal print throw pillows and Calligaris dining tables. The focus here is on contemporary, reasonably priced wares, and the merch is displayed in a series of living room and dining vignettes that suggest a tricked out dinner party waiting for guests. Stylish offerings such as black-and-white damask print trash bags and dinner napkins silk-screened with ladies-in-waiting deliver on A&G's mission to bring up-and-coming designers to Brooklyn design buffs at affordable prices. — Christopher Richter
