If he knows people with names like these, he'll be doubly amused by the premise of this picture book: A kid, exhausted by childhood's daily grind, tells his parents, “It's been a wonderful eight years,” and heads for Florida's Happy Sunset Retirement Community. That's where the big fun starts, as Jon Agee, a New Yorker cartoonist, satirizes the senior crowd—and shows a boy remembering the bright side of a kid’s life, work included.
